Christmas minis – Session Prep Guide

Farmhouse Minis – Session Prep Guide

Welcome to your Farmhouse Mini Session at Little Keeps Collective — where gentle magic meets timeless memory-making. To help you feel relaxed and ready, here’s everything you need to know before your visit.

Location

92 Spanns Road Beenleigh (Entry to studio is via the downstairs entry doors)

Arrival

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for parking, settling in and getting them ready.

Please Do not enter the studio if arriving before your allocated time — I may be finishing up with another family. I’ll come out to greet you when it’s time.

What to Wear

Dress children before arrival to maximise your time in the studio.

Choose outfits that feel festive, soft, and true to your family’s style — neutrals and traditional reds/greens, knits, and textures photograph beautifully.

Clean faces and tidy hair help us start right away and keep the focus on connection.

Optional Props

You’re welcome to bring cookies and milk (or a festive treat) for your children to enjoy during the session — it adds a lovely, candid touch to your gallery.

If you’d like to include a special heirloom, toy, or seasonal item, feel free to bring it along.

What to Expect

Your session will include a gentle blend of:

Posed portraits — perfect for Christmas photo gifts, cards and keepsakes

Playful moments — think rolling playdough, cutting Christmas-shaped cookies, giggles and floury fingers

I’ll guide your little ones with warmth and patience, allowing space for their personalities to shine.

Studio Notes

The studio is styled with seasonal props and cozy textures — no need to bring anything unless you’d like to personalise your session.

If your child needs a moment to warm up, we’ll ease in gently with play and storytelling, I will have some Christmas books in the studio to help engage your little one.

After Your Session

You’ll receive a gallery link within 2 weeks to select your favourite images and option to upgrade your images.

Model Release (Optional)

If you’d love to see your images featured on our social media or website, a model release form will be available to sign in the studio on the day. This is entirely optional — your comfort and privacy are always respected.

Can’t wait to welcome you into the farmhouse, where flour floats like snowflakes and every giggle is a keepsake.

With sugar-dusted joy, Rachel xx
